WIZARD TACKLE, the new name in premium quality
offshore game and sports fishing tackle!

Albury based Wizard Tackle, owned by Adam Furst (BOXHEAD to his mates), was started in 2006 to satisfy a 20 year passion in game/deep sea fishing. Having owned several game fishing boats, most recently a 26’ Black Watch called Dreamcatcher, Adam found the suppliers of quality lures, hooks etc to be not what he wanted. So how to build a better mouse trap thinking took over his free time.

Coming from an engineering background, Adam re-designed several products and when the opportunity to begin Wizard Tackle presented itself, he decided to go ahead. Now with exclusive agency lines for Australia & New Zealand, coupled with Wizard’s own designed & manufactured products, Wizard is setting standards others will follow. 

Selective distribution sees profits being maximised for Wizard’s distributors. Armed with several exceptional & now proven lines, Adam moved into The US Market, basing Wizard out of Florida. Early days as at 2007 but signs are excellent. Supported by a team of equally avid fishermen/women, WIZARD is looking good for continued growth.

As for Dreamcatcher, she too has been got at by our graphics guys from RGI. Sadly already named so we quietly call her WIZ 3.
